Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa

I believe Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa is not new to all the food bloggers as it has been operated for almost 30 years at Kampung Baru. From just a small stall & now they expand their business to a new cafe concept at KL area.

I never been to the "original" Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa at Kampung Baru but I believe this Bangsar outlet that I went definitely more comfortable :P

Asam Boi Juice - RM 2.95
Lime Juice - RM 3.95

My RED hot Asam Boi Juice ~~

Nasi Lemak - RM 2.95
Ayam Masak Merah - RM 4.95

Nasi Lemak - RM 2.95
Ayam Goreng Berempah - RM 4.95

With normal nasi lemak condiments like frind anchovies, peanuts, half boil egg & sambal. The sambal was at the sweet side. The Ayam Masak Merah & Ayam Goreng were mediocre, nothing to shout about. There are other dishes like rendang ayam, sotong (cuttlefish) , kerang (cockles), paru-paru (lung) etc to go with the nasi lemak.

All food shown are in set included food & beverage (limited to coffee or tea only). Prices are reasonable (Sorry I forgot the price, less than RM 10.00 / set for sure)

Simple setting but it's quite warm inside cause there are no air-conditioner. (

Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum

It was a lazy Sunday morning but my sister liven up things by treating us to this "hot" dim sum restaurant ~~ Once we reached there was already a queue waiting for table outside the restaurant. Luckily we got our table very soon :)

Open kitchen concept where we can see the chef busily preparing the dim sum.

Dim Sum will never be complete without the sweet sauce, chili sauce & pot of Chinese tea~~

Teow Chew Pork Dumpling a.k.a Siu Mai

Scallop Har Gao
Big scallop~~yum yum~~

Beancurd Skin Roll

Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun
Too bad it was served cold to us :(

Century Eggs & Minced Meat Porridge
All the ingredients are hidden underneath the surface :P

Egg Tart
Flaky pastry with smooth egg filling, can't get enough of this everytime I have dim sum~.~

Ma Lai Gou
It was my 1st time eatign this as I heard about this from Hong Kong TVB dramas ~~
I can taste the corn flavor in it. Pipping hot & soft , we all love it but when we want to order another basket, it's already sold out :(
It was only 8am+, how come??

Fried Pork Bun (生煎包)
It my 1st time having this too. The bottom of the bun were fried to crispy with lots of sesame, the meat filling was flavorful resemble xiu long bao but without the soup.
It was served cold too, I think it would taste better if it is served hot~~

Loong Penang Grill Fish (Stall 69 @ SS2)

I am inspired by Rasa Malaysia previous post on Hawker Food. Though her post is on Penang Hawker Food, it got me searching my archive of hawker food in my computer.

One particular hawker outlets that I frequent at Klang Valley is the SS2 Food Court. I've visited one of the stall that served mainly grilled fish & related items.

Stall 69 ~ Loong Penang Grill Fish 阿龙烧鱼王子

Variety of shellfish & fishes

Clam a.k.a "Lala"

Balidong a.k.a "Suck Clam" :P

Cockles a.k.a "Si Ham"

Bamboo Clam a.k.a "Zhuk Tan"

Another bigger clam a.k.a "Sa Bak"

Japanese Snail ~ their signature..

Fishes

"Sa Bak" in Superior Soup
The soup bountifully laden with clams, veggie, ginger & wolfberries. The soup tasted sweet & a bit spicy as they add bird eye chili too.

Portuguese Grilled Stingray
The thick flesh of the fish still juicy although the skin look like a bit burnt (but actually not ^.^). The spicy & sour sauce accompany definitely will give you a kick!!!

Butter Japanese Snails
The snails are de-shelled then cooked with butter, garlic & bird eye chili. Fragrant but the flesh might be a lil bit chewy =.=

Butter Choy Dam a.k.a "Nai You Choy Dam"
To my surprise they served veggie dish too!!! I never have veggie cooked with this method before, the vege is still green & crunchy with bites of the buttery egg.

Kechara Oasis

It's have been quite awhile since I have purely vegetarian food but having one at such a luxurious vegetarian restaurant is definitely my 1st time.

The main dining area was set up amidst a relaxing ambiance with Tibetan touches.

Since we were in group of 9 persons, set meal for 8-10 pax was our choice that evening.

Complimentary soup of the day ~ Lotus root soup

White Rice

Crispy Duck
Luncheon meat look-alike? :P Crispy skin with soft & flavorful inner, love it :)

Fried Veggie
Tasted average~~

Fried Abalone Mushroom in Sweet & Sour Sauce
"ku lou yok" look-alike? :p. The abalone mushrooms were so crispy and I can't stop chewing on them (till my jaw tired), hehe ^.^

Mixed Veggie Curry
The curry not too pungent, laden with vegetables such as long bean, eggplant, cabbage & etc.

Minced Meat Tofu
Tasted mediocre, nothing to shout about ~~

Deep Fried Fish

Pancake (included in the set meal). Verdict: A thicker version of local roti canai ~.~''

Blooming Chrysanthemum in our pot of tea ~~

One Noodle

One Noodle is an extension of KTZ (the famous desserts place). One Noodle serves noodles (La Mien), rice, snacks & desserts.

On one fine afternoon, we decided to go to the 1st One Noodle outlet @ Kepong.

Interior of the restaurant ~ Tight seating, small space (lack of privacy :P)

Grape Fruit with Honey - RM 4.80

Iced Yin Yong - RM 3.30

Pork Dumpling La Mien - RM 6.80

Come with 4 big size dumplings with minced pork, prawn & wood ear fungus. Bouncy ~~

Superior Seafood La Mien - RM 16.80

Generous portion of seafood like scallops, mussels, prawns, fish, clams & squid. Definitely worth every cents that you paid!!! But the La Mien is too soggy~~
